ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – It was an interesting afternoon for drivers on Interstate 94 near downtown St. Paul, Minn. Saturday.

A large white dog was walking down the shoulder of the interstate.

Traffic was stopped several times as drivers tried to avoid it.

Some drivers even joined state troopers in trying to get out and help, but the dog kept running away.

Traffic cameras lost sight of the animal when it went into downtown St. Paul.

IT is unclear what happened to the animal.
