Local Music Tap: Record Store Day @ Electric Fetus

The Electric Fetus says it's "going to be a bigger line-up of in-store performances than ever" when the store celebrates Record Store Day Saturday.

In its seventh year, Record Store Day features exclusive releases only available at indie record stores, in-store performances from many local artists, giveaways, local food trucks and more.

Starting at 9:15 a.m. at the Fetus, Jeremy Messersmith & Brian Tighe open up the line-up, followed by DJ Jake Rudh of Transmission, Two Harbors, The Premiums, Portage, Middle Class Rut, Sonny Knight & The Lakers and K. Raydio & Psymun.

There will also be food provided by the World Street Kitchen and Chef Shack food trucks, as well as Glam Doll Donuts and Peace Coffee.

Other Minneapolis record stores, including Fifth Element (which will also have numerous artist performances), Cheapo Records, Tree House Records, Extreme Noise Records and Roadrunner Records are participating in Record Store Day, so check them out, too!
