MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Start the guesses now. The Minnesota Twins say they will announce a major summer concert coming to Target Field on Monday.
In a short news release, the Twins didn’t give any clues, only to say the announcement will be made at 11 a.m. Monday.
Target Field has been the venue for a 2011 Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw concert and a 2013 “No Shoes Nation Tour” with Chesney and the Zac Brown Band.
The “No Shoes Nation Tour” set a Target Field record with nearly 44,000 fans attending.
Beyond the big stadium tours, Target Field has also hosted smaller concert series, like last year’s Skyline Music Festival, which featured Soul Asylum, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Gear Daddies and Matthew Sweet.
