Lightning May Have Started Corcoran Barn Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A farmer in Corcoran, Minn. lost his dairy barn in a fire early Saturday morning.

Fire officials received report of the blaze just after 10 p.m. Friday night when a passerby noticed flames coming from the dairy barn.

Fourteen crews responded to the scene. All of the animals in the barn made it out safely and no one was injured.

Authorities think lightning may be to blame for the fire, but they are still investigating the cause.
