ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are looking for at least one suspect after two men were shot in St. Paul early Tuesday morning.

St. Paul Police were called to the area of Western Ave. North and Lawson Ave. West at about 12:15 a.m. on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man down in the street who had been shot. The victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said approximately one block north of that location, they found another man down who had been shot in the arm and leg. Authorities said neither victim had life-threatening injuries.

Officers canvassed the area, but could not locate any suspects. Police said it’s not clear if the two men might have been shooting at each other or if they were shot by other suspects. Both victims were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information should call St. Paul Police.
