MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in central Minnesota are asking for information about an armed robbery Friday in Santiago Township.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says a man with a handgun walked into the Santiago Country Store on 2080 165th Ave. Southeast.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve dark shirt, gloves and bandanna over his face.

He fled the store in a small maroon passenger car, which another man was driving.

Officials did not say what the suspect stole.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sherburne County Criminal Investigative Division at 763-765-3500.
