1 Killed In Blue Line Light Rail Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A pedestrian was hit by a Blue Line light rail train in Minneapolis on Friday afternoon.
According to Metro Transit officials, the incident occurred at 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of East 35th Street and Highway 55.
The pedestrian was dead on the scene.
Replacement bus service is substituting for Blue Line trains between Franklin and 46th Street stations.
Metro Transit Police are investigating.
