MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Three separate shooting incidents in Minneapolis leave two dead and four others wounded early Saturday morning, according to Minneapolis Police.

The first shooting happened just after midnight at a residence on the 3400 block of Dupont Avenue North. When police arrived, they found the victim had already died. Two other men were also wounded but are expected to survive. An adult male has been taken into custody for this shooting. The male was one of the two men taken to the hospital.

At about 1 a.m., Minneapolis Police responded to a second shooting on the 4600 block of Lyndale Avenue North, where a man was shot in the stomach. He is also expected to survive.

And just before 5 a.m., police responded to a call on the 2600 block of North Third Street, where two women were shot. Twenty-four-year-old Francesca Marie DeSandre, of Minneapolis, died at the scene. The other woman was hospitalized with serious injuries.

All victims were taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Police are investigating all three cases, and are asking for the public’s help. Contact them at 612-692-TIPS (8477) if you have any information about these shootings.
