MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in central Minnesota are looking for a pair of suspects after an elementary school was burglarized early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened at Avon Elementary School in the City of Avon, just northwest of St. Cloud. Authorities said two suspects are seen on school surveillance cameras.

The suspects targeted electronics and damage was reported at the school. Police said between the thefts and damage to property, the loss for the school is estimated at about $5,000. That number could go up after a final inspection is done at the school.

The Avon Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects. Anyone with information about the incident should call Avon Police at (320) 356-7575.
