Lumberjack Days Revitalized As Stillwater Log Jam

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – On the 80th anniversary of Lumberjack Days in Stillwater, Minn. the city is reviving the festival with a new name.

Now known as the "Stillwater Log Jam," organizers are bringing back old favorites.

Saturday visitors saw log racing and chainsaw wood carving.

The festival ended a couple of years ago after a financial scandal involving the past promoter.

But Saturday's throwback to the lumberjack traditions had the crowd cheering.

Stillwater Log Jam continues all weekend.
