MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A bicyclist was listed in critical condition after he was involved in a crash with a car west of St. James, Minn. early Thursday morning.

The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. along County Road 3 near 650th Avenue, roughly 6 miles west of St. James.

The bicyclist, identified by the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office as 41-year-old Clint Brown, was struck by a 1995 Buick Park Avenue.

Brown was airlifted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester with critical injuries.

The 32-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
