MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The man charged with killing Mendota Heights police officer Scott Patrick is still in the hospital, which means he hasn’t made his first court appearance yet.

Police shot Brian Fitch several times during a gunfight before they arrested him last week.

He faces 12 charges in two counties.

Fitch’s first court appearance has been moved to next Wednesday.
