MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Tickets are on sale for the 10th annual Ivey Awards celebrating Twin Cities professional theater.
The Iveys will be presented Sept. 22 at the Historic State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis.
Mu Performing Arts artistic director Randy Reyes will return as the event’s co-host. Reyes will be joined by a new co-host, actor-singer Christina Baldwin.
“Theater Forever” is the theme of this year’s Iveys. There are no nominees, set number of awards or pre-determined award categories, except for Lifetime Achievement and Emerging Artist. Artists and organizations are selected for recognition from evaluations completed by the public and more than 150 volunteers who have seen over 1,000 performances in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area from September 2013 through August 2014.
Tickets range from $35 to $125.
