MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis will put some iconic works from its collection on display as it celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The Walker was founded as a public art center in 1940. The museum will kick off a series of exhibitions and programs starting with “Art at the Center: 75 Years of Walker Collections.”

The exhibit is curated by Walker executive director Olga Viso and guest curator Joan Rothfuss. It looks at 75 years of collecting at the Walker.

Works that will be on display include Edward Hopper’s “Office at Night,” Franz Marc’s “The Large Blue Horses” and Andy Warhol’s “Sixteen Jackies.”

The exhibition will be on view from Oct. 16, 2014, through Sept. 11, 2016.
