MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Southbound Highway 52 was closed to traffic Monday afternoon after a semi truck overturned in St. Paul.

The crash happened near the area of Plato Boulevard East.

Traffic cameras showed the vehicle on its side on the road’s shoulder.

Authorities didn’t say what they believe caused the crash, but the Minnesota Department of Transportation says that state troopers were closing the ramps to Interstate 94 and Interstate 35E in the immediate area.

By 1:30 p.m., the scene had cleared and southbound traffic was moving again.
