Study: Kids Of Past, Present Marijuana Users More Likely To Use
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new survey shows children of past or present marijuana users are much more likely to start using themselves.
But Dr. Leslie Adair with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation says it's not too late. She says parents still have a big influence over their kids when it comes to marijuana use.

The survey also found more than 60 percent of teen and young adult marijuana users don't think the drug is addictive or damaging to the brain. Adair says that's very troubling, considering the research that shows it is in fact addictive and delays brain development in adolescents.
