Garth Brooks Set To Begin 11-Show Run In Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- After 16 years away, Minnesota country music fans are finally getting the chance to see an icon.

Starting Thursday night, Garth Brooks will play the first of 11 shows at Target Center. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Maintaining his pledge to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible, Brooks has set the price for each seat, no matter where it's located, at $70.50 including service charges.

Tickets can only be purchased online at www.axs.com/garth or by calling 1-855-411-4849. No tickets will be available at the venue box office.

If you want to go cheaper, however, there are seats at StubHub starting in the $40s and $50s.

Brooks is here all weekend with shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
