Gophers' Shae Kelley Earns Big Ten Weekly Honor
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – University of Minnesota senior forward Shae Kelley was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll on Tuesday.
Kelley scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Gophers to a win at North Dakota last week. She shot 12-of-16 from the field, and four of her nine rebounds were on the offensive glass. She also had three steals in 29 minutes.
The Gophers host Liberty, Central Michigan and No. 1-ranked South Carolina in the Subway Classic this weekend at Williams Arena. Minnesota faces Liberty Saturday and Central Michigan on Sunday.
