Rep. Rick Nolan's Daughter Has Advanced Lung Cancer
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Rep. Rick Nolan, from northern Minnesota's 8th Congressional District, was not in Washington on Tuesday.
He posted on his Facebook page Monday that his youngest daughter, Katherine, has recently been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
She is 40 years old.
The Democratic congressman said he will be working from Minnesota for a couple days while they meet with doctors and formulate a plan of action.
In the Facebook post, Nolan says, "The good news is that she is remarkably strong and determined to win this fight, and of course our entire family will support her every step of the way."
