Saunders: Rubio Back From Ankle Injury Against Dallas

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) – Minnesota Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders said before the team's game at Dallas Monday night that Ricky Rubio will be in the lineup.

Rubio has missed more than three months and 43 games after suffering a severe ankle sprain. It's unclear if Rubio will start, but Saunders said he will be limited to 15 to 20 minutes.

Minnesota also got back guard Mo Williams, who missed the past two games with a sore left hip.

Rubio's injury came only a week after he agreed to a $55 million, four-year extension with the Timberwolves. He was averaging 9.4 points and a career-best 10 assists per game when he got hurt.
