Is St. Paul Next Up For Police Body Cams?
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul may be the next city in the state to put body cameras on police officers.
The city council is considering a resolution asking the police department to include a pilot program in its next budget request.
Minneapolis started testing body cameras on 36 officers in November. They plan to roll-out the program department wide later this year.
The St. Paul City Council is expected to vote on the resolution Wednesday.
