CEO Of Fairview Health Services Steps Down

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The CEO of Fairview Health Services is leaving the company.

Rulon Stacey is leaving Fairview after just 15 months on the job.

Fairview said it's because of Stacey's "professional differences" with its board of directors.

The Pioneer Press reports he didn't agree with the board over a strategic plan to integrate elements of its system in light of the changing national health care environment.

The CEO job had been vacant for a year before Stacey was hired in the fall of 2013.

Stacey will stay on until March 1.
