Greater Twin Cities United Way Celebrates 100 Years
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More than 3,000 people signed up to attend the centennial celebration of the Greater Twin Cities United Way Thursday night.
United Way is a nonprofit organization that helps families and individuals with education, income and healthy living.
The event Thursday was not only to celebrate 100 years of service from United Way, but also to organize and mobilize 100,000 volunteers to become, what the group is calling, the #Next100.
