The Lowry Mixes Up Summer Beer Cocktails

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – With summer kicking into high gear, we thought it would be fun to mix up some summer beer cocktails on the 'CCO Rooftop.

Stephanie Shimp from the Blue Plate Restaurant Company and bartender Colin Weaver from The Lowry visited WCCO Mid-Morning with some recipes.

Shimp and Weaver used Freehouse beer in some fun, summer cocktails you can find at the Lowry.

The Snarf

1-1/2 oz Plymouth gin
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz Demerara syrup
2 oz Joia grapefruit chamomile soda
2 oz Hefeweizen beer
Lime squeeze

The Last Brew

1oz Green chartreuse
1oz Luxardo
1oz fresh lime juice
4 oz #1 Kolsch beer
