Child, 1, Dies After Falling Into Tub Of Water

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 1-year-old boy who apparently fell into a tub of water two weeks ago has died.

Olmsted County officials were called to a home in Dover on June 24. The child's mother was doing CPR on her son when they arrived.

Lincoln Tews was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Investigators say he'd been playing outside with his siblings and apparently fell into a tub with about 6 inches of water in it.

The water was for kids to wash their feet with before coming into the house.

The funeral is slated for Thursday.
