Report: After 22 Years, The Gap Is Leaving Downtown Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- After 22 years, Gap will soon vacate its downtown Minneapolis location in IDS Center, according to a report from the Business Journal.
The San Francisco-based clothing retailer will close the adults and kids store on July 26, but GapKids is already nearly cleared out.
In mid-June, Gap announced the closure of 175 stores and elimination of 250 corporate jobs.
Gap also owns Old Navy and Banana Republic.
