Lynx Guard Monica Wright Out Indefinitely After Knee Surgery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx announced Thursday that guard Monica Wright had arthroscopic surgery on her right knee.
The procedure was done at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Wright will be sidelined indefinitely.
Wright, a 5-10 guard, played in seven games for the Lynx this season after sitting out the first five games with a strained right calf. She was averaging 2.1 points, 1.1 assists and 0.9 rebounds in about 11.5 minutes per game.
