Report: MN's Jostens Sold In $1.5B Deal
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota-based maker of class rings and yearbooks, Jostens, has been sold as part of a $1.5 billion deal.
It comes after Jostens' parent company, Vistant Holding, was purchased by Jarden Incorporated.
The Star Tribune reports no layoffs are expected at Jostens' offices in Edina, Eagan and Owatonna, which employees 800 Minnesotans.
They'll become part of the broad product line-up already owned by Jarden, including Mr. Coffee, Oster kitchen products, Marmot and Rawlings sporting goods and Yankee Candle.
