API, Big Game Recall Hunting Tree Stands Over Safety Concerns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two Minnesota companies are recalling some of their hunting tree stands over safety concerns.

Federal safety officials said they've gotten reports of hunters being injured after falling while using their stands made by API Outdoors and Big Game, both based in Windom. They think this is happened due to faulty cables.

The model affected from API is called the Marksman. The models from Big Game are: The Outlook, Colbalt and the Fusion.

Both companies are offering replacement cables at no cost.
