Players, Fans Take To Social Media To Mourn For Saunders
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Shortly after the Timberwolves announced the death of head coach Flip Saunders on Sunday, fans and players took to social media post their memories of the longtime NBA coach.
Saunders died at age 60, and battled Hodgkins lymphoma in the final months of his life. Saunders, who coached for 17 NBA seasons, was diagnosed with cancer in June and took a leave of absence from coaching to get treatment in September.
