Cooking With WCCO: Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – As almost everyone knows, fall means pumpkin spice.

From cookies to marshmallows to chips, everything is pumpkin spice flavor. And it all started with the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks.

But for pumpkin spice lovers, just one of those lattes can run you more than 500 calories.

So, WCCO's Kylie Bearse spent some time in the Cambria Kitchen with Danette Peterson from Medifast Centers to learn how to make a healthier version of the PSL.

Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino

Ingredients
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup coffee
3 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1 teaspoon zero calorie sweetener
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth
Serve with a dollop of sugar free whipped topping
