4 Your Pets: Local Bunny Has 'Trix' Ambitions
A Twin Cities bunny wants nothing more than to become the famous "silly rabbit," with an obsession for a fruit-flavored kid's cereal.
Cricket has thrown her adorable bunny hat into the race for the new Trix rabbit! General Mills has created the search as a way to promote their new spin on the iconic cereal, which abandons artificial flavors and colors.
Cricket -- who lives in St. Paul with her human, Julie -- is no stranger to the spotlight. She was the winner of a contest which aimed to dethrone the cat as the Internet's go-to-pet.
The Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society is helping Cricket, a Standard Rex (like the one in "The Velveteen Rabbit") reach for the cereal stars. You can vote for Cricket here!
