Shake Shack Coming To Mall Of America
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Shake Shack, the franchise that's had even jaded Manhattanites standing in line and downing burgers while standing shoulder-to-shoulder, is coming to Minnesota.
The restaurant serves burgers, hot dogs, fries and other classic fast food options, but is also known for its shakes and frozen custards.
There restaurant is opening at the new third-floor "Culinary on North" section of the mall's recently opened expansion.
"This is a natural fit for Shake Shack's first to the market location tapping into more than 40 million annual visitors," Mall of America SVP of leasing Liz McLay said. "Shake Shack will be an exciting complement to our growing dining mix."
There are currently three Shake Shacks in Illinois.
Other restaurants set for Culinary on North include Melt Shop, Naf Naf Grill, Piada and something called Disco Fries.
