MINNERAPOLIS (WCCO) – St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman is in Paris Tuesday for the United Nations Convention on Climate Change.
He is leading a delegation of 68 mayors from the Mississippi Rivers and Towns Initiative.
Tuesday morning he was asked about the atmosphere in Paris following the terror attacks.
"Obviously security is very tight here in Paris," he said. "When you have presidents, prime ministers, kings and queens of the various nations that are here, UN diplomats, etc., you certainly notice a strong security presence here. But I think people have really felt that Paris has done an exceptional job of hosting this summit."
Mayor Coleman returns home this weekend.
