Macy's To Cut Nearly 5K Jobs After Tough Holiday Season

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Macy's has announced they're cutting up to 4,800 jobs after a miserable holiday season.

About 2,100 of the cuts will be from reducing store staffs, back office operations and consolidating regional store groups.

The rest will come from 40 stores being closed.

None of the stores closing are located in Minnesota.
