Frostbite Warning Issued In Minnesota As Temperatures Drop

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Bitterly cold temperatures are settling into Minnesota, prompting forecasters and others to warn about frostbite.

Wind chills in the Twin Cities are expected to tumble to the minus 25 to minus 34 range by Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory for Monday night into Tuesday. The weather service says frostbite can affect exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Monday's high temperatures aren't expected to make it out of the single digits.
