St. Paul Sergeant Accused Of Lying Under Oath
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Paul police sergeant is on paid-administrative leave Thursday night after accusations that she lied in court.
Sgt. Heather Weyker was part of a 2008 sex trafficking investigation that helped convict three men.
But a court found she likely made up parts of an alleged victim's story. A judge later overturned the convictions.
St. Paul police officials say they take the accusations against Weyker seriously and could take action when the investigation is finished.
