VIDEO: Becker County Deputy Avoids Close Call With SUV
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With just seconds to react, a Minnesota sheriff's deputy narrowly escaped a serious injury during a traffic stop this week.
Becker County Deputy Cody Bouchie was standing next to a car on the side of the road on Wednesday when he noticed a vehicle barreling towards him.
As he ran away, he yelled to the driver of the car he pulled over to close their door.
Just after he got out of the way, the SUV slid by, just barely missing the car.
The roadway was icy, which caused the SUV driver to lose control.
