UND Men's Hockey Earns Top Seed In NCAA Midwest Regional

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota men's hockey team has earned the top seed in the Midwest Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

The Fighting Hawks will face Hockey East champion Northeastern in the regional semifinals in Cincinnati on Friday. The other semifinal pits Michigan against Notre Dame.

UND is making its 14th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance, and seeking its eighth national championship.
