Sheriff: Twin Cities Women Used Kids To Help Sell Meth In Little Falls

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Twin Cities women were arrested Thursday in Little Falls, accused of using children to help sell methamphetamine.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Jamie Tapis-Morrow and 28-year-old Sara Harrison were pulled over by drug task force officers at about 4 p.m. near a Holiday gas station.

Fourteen grams of meth and several prescription drug pills were found in their possession.

Tapis-Morrow, from Brooklyn Park, and Harrison, from Minneapolis, also had five children under the age of 18 in their vehicle, who authorities believe were being used to help with the sale of the drugs.

All five children were taken into protective custody.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force and Little Falls Police assisted in the arrest, and are aiding in the investigation.
