18-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With St. Cloud Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police arrested an 18-year-old in Sartell Wednesday night in connection with an early morning shooting that left a man critically injured.
Police first responded at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of 18th Avenue North where they found 21-year-old Antoine Dajuan Fair with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and neck area. He was transported to St. Cloud Hospital, where he's currently listed in critical condition.
Later that evening, at around 8 p.m., police arrested Nathaniel Leon Smith, 18, at a home on Riverside Avenue South in Sartell. He's charged with 1st degree assault and 2nd degree attempted murder in connection with the crime.
The St. Cloud Police say the investigation is ongoing.
