Motorcyclist Killed In Brainerd Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 66-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a crash with an SUV in Brainerd Thursday afternoon.

The  incident happened along Wise Road near Golden Pond Drive at about 3:30 p.m.

Authorities said the motorcycle apparently crossed the centerline at the intersection and struck the SVU, which had three people inside.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The three people inside the SUV were taken to St. Joe's Hospital's emergency room, where they were treated for possible injuries.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Terron Lee Dingman, of Brainerd.
