Woman Found Fatally Shot In Minneapolis Alley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman is dead after a shooting early Saturday morning in south Minneapolis.

Police were called to the alley on the 2200 block of Elliot Avenue South at about 1:20 a.m., where they found the woman's body.

Investigators do not believe this was a random shooting. Patrols are being increased in the 3rd Precinct, and police are asking for residents to work with them to decrease crime in the area.
