Motorcyclist Clocked At 132 MPH Crashes After Chase

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Wisconsin officials say that a motorcyclist who hit speeds of up to 132 miles per hour during a police pursuit ended up crashing in Hudson early Monday morning.

The chase happened on Interstate 94, beginning in Warren.

A state trooper clocked the motorcycle going 83 mph and tried to pull the driver over. During the ensuing chase, the motorcyclist reportedly hit 132 miles per hour.

After roughly six miles, the motorcyclist crashed and was ejected.

Authorities found the motorcyclist in heavy brush. He said he felt pain in his left leg.

He was taken to Regions Hospital. Authorities identified him as 20-year-old Zachary Mills of Eden Prairie.

The St. Croix County District Attorney's Office is looking into pressing charges against Mills.
