160 New Target Field Workers At The Ready

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- After having to bus in workers from Milwaukee and Chicago because of an employee shortage, Target Field announced that there are now 160 new workers ready to start this weekend.

The workers have completed training, Delaware North said, and will be at the ready for the Minnesota Twins' series against the Detroit Tigers.

Earlier this month, the Twins implemented a social media blitz advertising a job fair. The news broke on social media after the Twins had to bus in concession workers.

Last year there were allegations that a temp agency the Twins used to try and fill concession jobs was not paying and turning away workers who showed up at the stadium. This year the Twins have eliminated the temp agency and say, if you're hired, you will work.
