1. Comic Con is back in Minneapolis this weekend! It will include a ton of celebrity guests from your favorite sci-fi and superhero shows and movies. Of course, costumes are also welcome. Minneapolis Comic Con is at the Convention Center from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $55 at the door. Kids ages 2 to 10 get in for free.

2. The Festival of Nations -- Minnesota's largest multi-cultural celebration -- is back this year at the St. Paul RiverCentre this weekend. It brings together people from all backgrounds to celebrate their ethnic heritage, learn about other cultures and enjoy great food. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $13 to $50 for adults.

3. Take mom to the mall this weekend. Eagan Outlet wants you to treat your mother to a weekend of discount shopping and giveaways. Moms will get complimentary dessert items, free massages, meet-and-greets with fashion consultants and complimentary jewelry cleanings. There will also be a walk to honor moms as cancer survivors and caregivers Sunday.

4. And it's Cinco de Mayo in St. Paul Saturday! The 34th annual Cinco de Mayo West Side Fiesta will be along Cesar Chavez Street. Get ready to enjoy arts, cuisine, a car show, contests and more. The celebration unites and brings awareness to the Mexican and Mexican-American communities and their rich history. Cinco de Mayo goes from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
