Franklin Avenue Bridge Closing Until Labor Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Franklin Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis will close at 8 p.m. Sunday and create quite the traffic headache.

The bridge crosses the Mississippi River and will be closed for everyone, including cyclists and pedestrians.  It will stay closed until Labor Day weekend.

Until then, detours will be posted but delays should be anticipated.
