Man Faces Charges For Having Explosives In N.D. Apartment

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Felony charges have been filed against a Grand Forks man who allegedly fired a gun in an apartment and possessed homemade bombs.

Thirty-two-year-old Jeffrey Cutter could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of reckless endangerment and possession of explosives.

Court documents do not list an attorney for him, and a home telephone listing couldn't be found. He could enter pleas at a June 13 court hearing.

Authorities allege Cutter fired a gun through the floor of an apartment about 5:30 a.m. Saturday. No one was hurt. Police said officers who responded found "concerning" items and called in a bomb squad that found three homemade bombs. Local reports said that authorities say the bombs contained projectiles, making them even more lethal.
