2 Men Arrested In Connection With Chaska Bank Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Chaska police have arrested two males in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Friday morning.
A suspect described as having a thin build, wearing dark clothing including a ski mask and wearing a backpack robbed the Klein Bank at 301 Chestnut St. at 9:15 a.m. Friday, according to police. The suspect repeatedly said he had a firearm and explosives, though they were not displayed.
Chaska police announced via their Facebook page Saturday they had arrested the suspected robber at 6 p.m. on Friday. The second male suspect was arrested Saturday morning. A third party is expected to be charged as well, police said.
Downtown Chaska schools were placed on lockdown after the bank robbery as a precaution.
