4 Things To Know: Muhammad Ali, Dem Convention & More

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for June 5, 2016.

Number One: Mourning Muhammad Ali

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is being remembered for his tremendous athletic feats in the boxing ring and his contributions long after he fought his final fight.

His final fight was in 1981. Three years later he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

He died Friday at 74.

Number Two: Minnesota Dems Vs. Trump

Minnesota Democrats are taking aim at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Hundreds of DFLers gathered Saturday at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis to elect the party's delegates for the state convention.

The party remains divided on which candidate to support for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The DFL State Party Chair says a Trump presidency would hurt Democrats' achievements.

Number Three: Unstoppable Lynx

The team was tested in the first half against Dallas, but found a way to win it.

They had a 27-point fourth quarter to secure a 80-to-63 win Saturday at Target Center.

The Lynx are now one of two undefeated teams in the league with a 7-0 start, matching Los Angeles.

The Lynx play Phoenix Mercury next on Tuesday.

Number Four: Alex's Lemonade Stand

Shoppers can quench their thirst all while helping a good cause.

For the 12th year in a row, the Hollway family will have a giant lemonade stand set up at Mall of America's rotunda.

From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., you'll find them serving up the ice cold drink along with performances by local dancers.

Money goes towards Alex's Lemonade Stand to help raise money for childhood cancer research.
